It’s amazing how color affects our everyday lives even if we don’t take the time to realize its effects. It’s popping up in food and drinks where it would traditionally be least expected, a pleasant surprise!
In our fast-paced and possibly time-starved days, we seek colors that provide us a benefit or value–a rainbow to liven up a drink, a dark purple to refuel our antioxidants, or a vivid red to make a bold statement.
We are subconsciously attracted to these colors, because they positively influence our mood, restore our health, and express our individuality.
It’s exciting to see how consumers are delighting familiar foods and drinks with color these days, as a form of self-expression/need.
