Kosher
Kosher refers to a set of intricate biblical laws that detail the types of food that a Jewish person may eat and the ways in which it may be prepared.
Kosher Certified
Kosher Certification is the stamp of kosher approval by a rabbinic Agency verifying they have checked the products’ ingredients, production facility and actual production to ensure all ingredients, derivatives, tools and machinery have no trace of non-kosher substances.
Kosher for Passover
A Jewish person avoids anything that contains grain that has risen or fermented during the time of Passover, and any substance that is chametz (forbidden) must be traced and eliminated prior to any food that is kosher for Passover can be produced.
Kosher Suitable
All ingredients in every product—and the process of preparing the product— is compliant with orthodox kosher criteria, but there is no independent third party organization that has supervised or certified the compliance.
