Indigoid
A chemical class of colourants characterized by the basic indigo structure.
Indigotine
A denim-blue water-soluble dye that is very stable to light exposure in low water activity systems. Other names: FD&C Blue #2, Indigo carmine, E132, CI Food Blue 1, CI #73015, CAS #860-22-0

Iron Oxide
Iron oxides are chemical compounds composed of iron and oxygen. They are used as pigments derived from mineral sources to colour in earthy shades, such as yellow, orange, red, brown, black. Food grade iron oxide is available in red, yellow, black shades and blends of these.
