The Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JEFCA) is an international scientific committee of experts that is jointly implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO). The primary goal of the committee is to evaluate the safety of food additives.
